Year 12 student selected for prestigious young writers’ masterclass

Year 12 student, Noah Barr, has been selected from hundreds of applicants across Ireland to take part in a prestigious writing masterclass at the Museum of Literature, Dublin in July 2024. The five judges from the Edna O’Brien Young Writer’s Award took three months ‘forensically combing’ through the many applications and Noah’s writing was shortlisted. He was told his writing ‘stood tall and was unanimously voted as having considerable potential.’  This is an exciting opportunity  for Noah to further develop his writing voice and to meet other writers. The judges have chosen wisely as Noah’s writing impresses all who read or hear it.
