Thank you to Kevin and the Translink team for coming in yesterday to speak with our Year 8 students on how to stay safe while using public transport. At this time of year, it was a timely reminder of the importance of remaining visible during darker mornings and evenings when boarding and getting off the bus.
Students also learnt about the role pf onboard CCTV on board as a way of preventing anti-social behaviour and vandalism. The presentation included film of scenarios and hazards as well as the value of bus signage.
