It’s been a busy week on the media front at Shimna. Following on from the BBC’s visit on Wednesday, today we welcomed Sky News to the College.
A group of our Year 8 students were interviewed by Kat McCaulay from Sky News to Shimna about the forthcoming General Election. They discussed the issues that matter to them and their expectations of the next government. Kat was really impressed with their passion and enthusiasm on issues such as health, climate change and votes for under 16s.
Well done to all the students involved. We look forward to watching the item when it is broadcast.
