Our Year 13 Digital Technology students recently undertook IT Ambassador training with Jack McCready from Sentinus, working in conjunction with Queen's University Belfast. The training focused on programming micro:bit devices and included tasks ranging from simple game development to wireless broadcasts and encryption.
ICT teacher Mr Bennett thanked Jack for his work with the College and commended the students for their interest and application and looks forward to the next step: “In the New Year, IT Ambassadors will pass on the benefits of what they have learned by supporting Key Stage 3 students in computing activities.”
