Year 13 students Jana Pobloth, Aurora Milligan and Sophie Waddell are helping to organise a ‘Santa Dander Fundraiser’ event along Newcastle promenade to raise funds for the Pantry Foodbank charity. The girls, who are members of the Education Authorities Horizons Project, have planned the event with Unit T.
The 3km dander takes place this Saturday (9thDecember), with registration from 1.30pm at the ‘Tails of Flight’ sculpture. You can register in advance by sending £5 per person to http://paypal.me/unittgroup and, if a group or club wishes to take part, they are asked to get in touch in advance via the unittgroup@gmail.com e-mail address.
