A big thank you to Rev. Myrtle and the St. John’s Parish community for hosting a wonderful event at the Rectory last night. It was great to see and hear so many wonderful performances, including choirs and dancers from Newcastle Primary and All Children’s. From our own ranks, Katie Ross, Marta Forde, Sofia Holbrook Symington and Emily Nicholls sang a terrific Abba medley, Enya Leckey played the harp and Cameron Mayhew the piano before Emily returned for an impromptu solo. On an evening blessed with glorious weather, the programme was rounded off by the legendary, lawn-storming Anchor Ukulele Band.
