Shimna Integrated College will host 200 children from local primary schools with a programme of sports and drama running over three weeks, starting Monday 4th July.
Barry Dagen, Head of Year 8 and co-founder, says, "we want to build upon the success of last summer’s inaugural programme. It's great to see so many children who participated in the summer school last year have now enrolled at Shinma as students."
Ciaran Milligan, co-founder and Resilience Lead, says, "This programme was originally conceived as a response to the lost experiences of our young people during Covid. This year it is just as important that children are involved in healthy and fun activities. Plus, it's a great way to make new friends."
