Congratulations to Erin Elliott who, on Saturday, was presented with her Gold Duke Of Edinburgh Award at Buckingham Palace - just reward for her endeavours on the scheme during her time at Shimna. The Duke himself was present and the day included powerfully inspiring addresses from Welsh rugby legend Alun Wyn Jones and Strictly dancers Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova.
Erin, who continues to support Newcastle Netball Club, is coming to the end of her first year reading Zoology at University of Liverpool.
