Congratulations to Shimna athletes in the Down Schools’ Championships – in particular, Sophie Neill, who won the Intermediate Girls 1500m, and Eabha Hallissey, second in shot. They now go on to represent the College in The Ulster Schools' Championships. Well done as well to Zara Burney, fourth in the high jump, and Rachel Hodge, sixth in the discus.
Ms Doyle, Head of Girls’ Sport, praised all of Shimna’s competitors for their commitment and best efforts.
