Mr Bennett writes: “Year 13 and Year 14 Digital Technology students visited Queen’s University Belfast on Wednesday for a computing-focused talk and tour of the facilities. They visited the Computer Science building where they attended a session on cyber security, toured the maker lab, lecture room, viewing room, computer rooms and recreational facilities. The technology on site is of high specification and students heard about the world leading research that takes place at the university.
They also were taken around the library, including the C. S. Lewis room, visited One Elmwood ( location of the Students’ Union ) and walked through the Lanyon Building. Students were fascinated to discover more about cyber security and where university qualifications can lead.”
