BBC interviews Shimna students ahead of General Election

Mr McWatters writes: “A Level Politics students were interviewed today by the BBC ahead of the General Election on July 4th. The older students who are eligible spoke about the issues that impact them, as well as their excitement and enthusiasm on being first time voters. The younger students spoke passionately of their frustrations on missing out this time and discussed the case for reducing the age to vote to 16. Well done Orla, Molly, Riagan, Liam, Caiti and Ella-Rose!”

We’ll let you know when the interviews are broadcast.
