On Thursday we welcomed Steve Eadon, formerly of Arsenal FC. Steve joined us to promote German as part of our collaboration with the Goethe Institut as a PASCH school. He began the day running a workshop for All Children's IPS practising their sporting skills and teaching some German at the same time. In the afternoon he gave a fantastic motivational talk to all our students of German focusing on all the career opportunities available in sport if you can speak another language.
Head of Modern Languages, Ms Susay writes: “We heard fascinating stories about his time at Arsenal FC where he worked with world class players from many different countries, his travels with Arsenal FC across different continents and how he got to use his languages in his work place. Students had the chance to ask questions about famous players and even got an autograph and a few selfies!”
